About

Apart from Osaka, Nara is the place in Japan where I have spent the most time. Known for its rich history and cultural significance, Nara was the first capital of Japan and is home to some of the country's oldest temples and shrines. Apart from its famous free-roaming deer, there's a variety of must visits that are well hidden from the average tourist. Thanks to my numerous local friends, I share with you in this space the local gems that offer a unique glimpse into the authentic culture of Nara and Japan.
