Xpark is a state-of-the-art aquarium located in Taiwan, dedicated to marine education and conservation. - At a price of 600 TWD, it's not the cheapest! However, for the exhibitions that you can see, it's worth the price!
- Accessibility
- xPark is super easy to get to! There are two main ways, you may choose the high speed rail and alight at Taoyuan High speed rail station, or take the Taoyuan MRT and alight at Taoyuan MRT station. Both stations are within walking distance to xPark.
- Uniqueness
- Xpark features some of the most unique exhibitions I have ever seen in an aquarium. With the aim of replicating natural ecosystems, the designers have crafted a variety of captivating exhibits that not only showcase diverse habitats but also have an educational element to it. Each display offers a fascinating glimpse into the underwater world, making for an unforgettable experience.
A personal note
My experience
I initially thought aquariums were just for kids, but Xpark proved me wrong! Traveling from Taipei, I found that the high-speed rail and the MTR were similarly priced, so I opted for the high-speed rail as it was faster.
Although the ticket cost 600 TWD, I can confidently say it was worth every penny! The exhibitions were incredible, nothing like I had ever seen before. The most impressive was the massive fish tank, it was truly astonishing! It must have been at least 15 meters tall, and it truly felt like you were inside the ocean. Inside the tank, you could see a variety of fish species I had never seen before, including enormous stingrays.
The cafe was a delightful surprise as well. While enjoying a meal, you could watch penguins swimming around in their tank. Overall, I highly recommend Xpark to visitors of all ages!
